BAND REHEARSAL ROOM AVAILABILITY

All of my monthly rental rooms are currently under contract.  If you would like to receive an email or phone call when a room becomes available just email me or call me at the address or phone number, above.  There are no bands on the wait list.

As an alternative it may make sense for your band to use our hourly rehearsal room, which rents for $60 for a 4-hour session.  The room is about 32 feet square, with 16-foot ceilings.  There is a small PA included which is adequate for vocals and includes mics, stands, and so on.  Sadly, no backline is provided so that means you need to haul your gear.  But then you could look at it this way; hauling gear is a lot of what you'll be doing when you play out!  What better way to stay in shape while simultaneously learning to keep your band's gig equipment list as lean as possible?

       Safe, secure, and convenient to Baltimore and the northern DC suburbs, we're located near both I-95 and I-695, just inside the Baltimore Beltway.  We feature 24-hour access, air-conditioned rooms, bay door load in/out, a paved lot with plenty of parking, individual studio alarm systems and on-site security.   Call 410-646-7334 to schedule a visit.

How it works:

    Typically you would load your gear in on a Friday afternoon/evening.  We would get everything mic'ed up and ready for recording starting on Saturday morning.  Then we would record all day Saturday (11-ish to 7-ish) and all day Sunday (noon to 7-ish).  You could then pick a couple of evenings during the following week for mix-down sessions.  While this outline is "typical" its certainly not the only scenario possible.  Depending on what other projects are currently in-house we can be very flexible. 

Studio Features

Command and control!  ProTools 10 HD2, Digidesign C24 controller with touch-sensitive motorized faders, A/D converters from Apogee and Avid, and the ability to record 32 tracks simultaneously with no audible latency.	The studio headphone system runs via Cat 5 cable to Aviom 16-channel digital mixers, one of which is shown above.  There are 10 headphone mix positions throughout the studio.	Most of the recording is done through a variety of vacuum tube and premium solid state preamps.  Shown here are a pair of Avalon 737sp, Universal Audio 6176, and an Aphex 1100A.
The studio includes over 1200 square feet of acoustically designed recording space with a large drum room and two isolation rooms.	We feature a diverse and growing variety of microphones from B.L.U.E., Shure, Senheisser, Audio Technica, and others.	Some things you just can't take a picture of, like our relaxed yet productive atmosphere and our commitment to providing you with a  quality product at a great price.
